The best concerts I've been to

Image
Before I jump into this post can I just say how  is there just over two weeks left of 2016?! This year has gone unbelievably quick and I am so  proud of myself for producing a blog post every single day! Go me yay. And now to the post! I absolutely love  going to concerts and gigs and festivals, its one of my favourite things to do! There's absolutely no better feeling than hearing someone you've listened to for ages and absolutely love live for the first time- I don't think, anyway! There's also nothing worse than going to see someone and them turning out not to sound that great (Thanks Wembley for ruining Eminem for me!) Anyway, I thought I'd share with you guys some of the best people I've ever seen live. You probably won't be surprised by a few of them... Beyonce Obviously  Beyonce was going to take the top spot! I'm not even saying this because I love her so much, she was honestly flawless in her performance. She sounded better  tha...

When you're at a concert

Despite feeling like death warmed up, I took my sister to see Panic! at the Disco last night (and by the end of the night after a four hour journey home, three of which were made in torrential rain, I really wish I hadn't). I haven't been to a proper concert since I saw Beyonce back in July and while I was there I felt old . I'm pretty sure that 90% of the crowd was younger than me and in my mind I was criticising almost everything they were doing...which of course, inspired me to write alllllll about the different people you get at gigs. Such as... The Snapchatter Jesus Christ. I'm all for taking a video of your favourite song and snapping some photos for your Insta, but must you record the entire concert on your phone? Realistically, what are you ever going to do with it? Nothing! Put your phone away, enjoy the concert and stop forcing the people behind you to watch the whole thing through your phone screen.  The guy with the backpack Or girl, of co...

Blink Live 2: Civil War!

Image
For those of you who know me well and keep updated with my social media sites, you'll know that I was helping to present a concert hosted by my radio shows station, Blink FM. Yesterday (Saturday 7th March) was the big day- and it was better than I had expected. The rehearsals were full of gossiping...this did not put my mind at ease! On the Friday, the whole team had had a minuscule rehearsal which, in all honesty, only made me panic about the event and what it was I was supposed to do and when! However, upon arrival at the venue on the Saturday, everything seemed to be running smoothly- and did so for the duration of the event! My boyfriend, Alex, runs his own business, Stoke Skate Company , so before I did anything else, I helped him to set up his stall (may I point out, his first ever  stall for his business!) and prepare for the night. It turned out to be a really successful night for the business, and he even made some profit which was a massive bonus. I couldn't h...

Blink Live 2, Friday's with Florence Grace and #TeamAlex...

As many of you will already know, I have a radio show of my own, 'Friday's with Florence Grace', every Friday on Blink FM. Others of you may also know that back in November, I became a trained TV presenter. In this exciting blog post, I'm about to explain to you how these two fabulous events are about to combine, and how you  can get involved! FWFG is hosted on local station Blink FM, based in High Wycombe and founded by Wycombe Youth Action in 2002. If you're aged 13-25 and interested in getting a new hobby, something extra for your CV or interested in getting some experience within the media industry, it's worth checking out how you can get involved!  I have been working with Blink FM since July 2014, and it's now time for me to get involved with one of the many exciting events that they host. This time round, it's Blink FM Live 2. So...what is it? A few months back, Blink FM hosted Blink FM Live 1. Blink FM Live 2 is a follow up even...
