I wish that the title of this blog post was an indicator that today I would be writing about Beyonce, but unfortunately, it links back to a topic a little more serious than that.  Of course, the entire world knows that today, Donald Trump was made the President of the United States of America. Oh, how those words make me sick to my stomach. While his opponent, Hillary Clinton, was no saint, she was most definitely the lesser of two evils and she would have been the far better successor of the position than he. However. Everything happens for a reason, and for whatever reason Donald Trump won the presidential elections and is now in charge of the USA. (Brilliant...) Now I've argued with people online and in person about the results today. Thankfully, almost all of the people I interact with share my views. 2016 has been the weirdest year of all. Don't you agree? Let's just have a brief recap on the year so far. We started off 2016 in an incredibly sad way, losing a very large number of celebrities in quick succession. Now yes, people die every day, but you never hear about so many celebrities dying at once. We lost the likes of David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Prince, to name but a few. It was an incredibly sad time and has people panicking every time a celebrities name is trending on Twitter now. We all began to hate a girl called Becky who we didn't actually know, simply because Beyonce implied that her long time partner, Jay Z, cheated on her with "Becky with the good hair". No one wants to be called Becky now. We've also had to deal with Brexit. Bloody Brexit. Within the space of 24 hours the country left the EU and the Prime Minister had resigned. Racial hate crimes rose dramatically and the country has basically been a shambles since. We lande...

Yesterday, I wrote a blog post pleading American citizens not to vote for the joke of a politician that is Donald Trump. I wrote about the adverse affect he would have on the country and how he stood for everything that is wrong with the world. But today it dawned on me that there is something far scarier- and far worse- than Donald Trump (yes, really). It's his supporters. Because it's one thing for one man to have such vile views on people who aren't straight, white males, but it's another when you realise just how much of America support  his views. A huge  portion of American's support his views and what he stands for, They believe the things he say are right! They're anti gay, they're anti black, they're anti Muslim, they're anti women- even the women! It's ludicrous but it's also terrifying . Imagine if Trump wins the elections. Its as simple as the title says. Don't vote for the raging lunatic that is Donald Trump. I was already repulsed and maddened by him and all that he stands for, but after the shrewd way he was recorded speaking about women that was revealed this weekend, I wish he could be eradicated from existence. Now let's face it, Hilary Clinton isn't the dream candidate. She isn't perfect. But without a doubt she is far, far better than the alternative that is Donald Trump. For all her imperfections, she fights for far more positive issues than Donald Trump does. Trump believes that women shouldn't have the right to abortions, and if they do have an abortion, they should be punished, but that men should not because "its different".
