Six Signs It's Friday

Image
Other than using your phone or a calendar to check the day, how else can you tell that it's Friday? All the memes All those basic guys and gals sharing memes about "Thank God its Friday lets get lit turn up woo woo sick one drink drank drunk no ragrets" even though they have work at 9am on a Saturday morning. The attitude problems Its Friday. I don't give a fuck about my job anymore. Fire me bitch, I dare you. (But secretly I hope you don't because I need the money to celebrate all the other Fridays after this one, I'll be back and well behaved come Monday morning I promise) The music It goes one of two ways; you'll either be hearing Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' or Rebecca Black's 'Friday'... those with a real taste in music will settle for 'The Weekend' by Michael Gray. Obvs. Girls suddenly look completely different Girl were you always that tanned? Your hair looks longer! W...

Happy birthday me (until next year!)

Image
Well, almost a week later, my birthday celebrations are finally over and done with! Last night I finished my 21st birthday with a bang, taking a limo for myself and seven friends to a cocktail bar in London where we had a booth booked before heading back to town to do some more club hopping. It was a brilliant night, I definitely went all out and my friends spoiled me rotten. With a pink and silver theme, a personalised Instagram frame and wrist bands, I had the best time and have never felt so lucky or so loved before!  It's late and I'm tired/slightly hungover, so I'm going to do a more in depth post about it tomorrow, or later on this week (possibly a "look what I got" post about the gifts from my friends because I was so  spoiled!) but for now, here's some photo's from the night! I had such a great night and I am so lucky to have such brilliant friends and family who have made my 21st birthday th...

HALLOWEEKEND!

Image
Today's post is going to be very, very brief!  This year, Halloween falls on a Monday, and if that doesn't sum up 2016 I don't know what does! Instead of celebrating on the day, a lot of people are celebrating this weekend, 'Halloweekend'. I am no exception here! I hosted a Halloween dinner party for my sisters and my mum. I decorated the dining room with a tonne of sparkly, spooky decorations and whipped up a banquet fit for the Gods for them!  Thankfully, they loved it, and there will be photos to follow in a more detailed post tomorrow. However, now that we've finished eating, the festivities are continuing! We're all going to sit down with some Halloween sweets and watch Scream while we carve pumpkins! How cute, right? We get an extra hour of the day today as the clocks go back tonight- not only does that mean we get an extra hour sleep but it means the mornings will be darker, the evenings will be darker and that Christmas is literall...

Makeup Revolution I AM FREEDOM Final!

Image
Last night (Thursday 27th October) I had the pleasure and good luck of attending Makeup Revolution's I AM FREEDOM finale party/Halloween party! I had attended the Makeup Revolution second birthday party back in March and so when I was emailed about this party, I knew I had  to attend, because boy, oh boy, do Makeup Revolution know how to throw a party! The theme was cocktail party with your own Halloween twist, so everyone's outfits were quite varied! While my bestie Bobbie was sporting a pair of angel wings, and my blogging pal Julia a unicorn horn, I chose to stick simply with Halloween colours- red and black. I wore a red sequinned cocktail dress and went for scarlett lips, blood red nails and a dark smoky eye look. To be honest, I was really feelin' myself, and I did receive a lot of compliments which was nice, so I'm definitely going to be trying this look out again!  Excuse my yellow eyes!  The party was held at DSTRKT in London, somewhere I'...

I know how to stop hangovers!

Image
I am dying. Really, really dying. I may already be dead. Okay, slight exaggeration but that's what it feels like. It's a struggle to even type, my tummy feels all swooshy, my head is spinning. This, my friends, is a hangover- and only the third one I have ever had in my life. I am a very fortunate drinker because I really don't get hangovers. I can drink to my hearts content, wake up the next day and be fine. But there have been three occasions where I have suffered from a hangover and I have now cracked the secret as to what it is that gives them to me. Jaeger bombs. I can't stand them. I hate them. They're the only drink that makes me sick and the only drink that leaves me with a hangover and feeling like absolute hell the next day. I had forgotten all about the jaeger bomb I so stupidly drank last night until Alex reminded me about it this morning and suddenly everything made sense. I was sick this morning and I feel rough as hell right now, so that...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAKE UP REVOLUTION!

Image
Wow. Wow. All I can say is... wow. I have loved Make Up Revolution products since I discovered them just under two years ago. I had just set up my blog and they began following me- flattered that already a brand was following me, I followed back. I quickly discovered that amongst the new bloggers I was connecting with online, Make Up Revolution was the  brand to use. So I did! Since then I have gone on to buy endless palettes, lip products, face products, the advent calender which provided me with a further 25 amazing products...and I have never been let down. Most products are under £10, they're all amazing in terms of quality, the colours are always super pigmented, they always last all day and they don't even test on animals. What more could you want from a brand? I was so  excited when I was invited to the brands second birthday party, and this all took place last night. Obviously, with such huge involvement in the blogging community, Make Up Revolution had a lot...
