It's my life.

You know what really annoys me?  People concerning themselves with my business.  Now, as a blogger/writer etc. I am totally aware that I leave my life open to speculation from the public, both from people I do and don't know. I have completely open social media sites in order to be able to instantly connect with people and to promote my work- I would not be able to do this with private accounts- and so people from all over the world can, and do, see everything. Selfies, drunken nights out, achievements, family days, my cats, new purchases, just my every day life. And of course, it leaves people able to comment on it all.  There are a few comments that creep up- usually indirectly- about the things that I post. Who does she think she is, her boobs are saggy, you still look fat, stop thinking you're better than anyone else, how boring to go out every weekend... the list goes on. Now thankfully, after undergoing online abuse such as this for going on...

What makes your eyes roll?

Eye rolling, cries of "ugh" and heavily sighing have caught on in a big way since being sassy rose to the top of everyone's priority list in 2015. With the likes of Lucy Watson to help assist us with our eyeball technique and Stephanie Davies to help us with our mouthy attitudes, now more than ever we are an exasperated, insulted and generally fed up  generation of people. Want some ice for that burn? Rude people. "You're so rude to everyone all of the time, stop rolling your eyes to heaven and huffing and puffing at me, look at me when I'm talking to you! Why do you only wear black? And why do you never leave the house? You're always...

Manner's...or rather, a lack of them.

My parent's raised me to be a very polite child, as they did with both of my sisters too. We always say please and thank you, we walk single file on the paths and step off of curbs to let people pass, we hold open doors and we wait patiently in queues. But all of this is just common sense isn't it? Well, you would like to think so, wouldn't you. However, over the last few years I have noticed a dramatic increase in the lack  of manners that people seem to possess. All too frequently I find myself holding open a door without a simple 'thanks', or moving out of someone's way only to have a stream of 7,582 people storm past me whilst I stand patiently waiting for the moment that I can continue on with my own journey. To be frank, I'm quite fed up of it now. Can it be that so many other people in the world were not raised so well by their parents, and were not taught these basic, simple manners? Or is it that they have simply been lost along the way? Whate...
