Introducing...Eve-Yasmine!

Those of you who listened to my first show on Blink FM on Friday 2nd January will have heard an amazing, unique, acoustic over of Gwen Stefani's well loved "Rich Girl", a brand new release from rising star, Eve-Yasmine. The song was well received by my listeners- for those of you who didn't catch my show, you can hear the song here- and so I thought I would introduce you even further into the world of Eve-Yasmin Saoud-Easton!

With her roots being a mix from both Morocco and the UK, Eve has a funky, urban edge to her music and even made it into the MOBO Awards Unsung Top 20 Finalists list in 2014. As well as having a gorgeous voice, which features as part of the CK Gospel Choir, Eve also has some wicked presenting skills, and has interviewed a multitude of celebrities, including Kat Von D, Mcfly, Jimmy Choo, Example, Amir Khan and the cast of the Inbetweeners. However, Eve isn't limited at celebrity interviews, and has also presented several well recognised events, including Britain's Next Top Model Live and BBC Children in Need.

Eve's music is what's really coming through in 2015 though. Having already been labelled an "Introducing Artist" by BBC Asian Network, her music is popular on radio stations throughout both the UK and Morocco. Thanks to her mixed-race background, Eve has been able to reach networks, TV channels and magazine's internationally, and this year I can sense a rise in her success! With her best known hit being "Talk To Me Brother", which she co-wrote and performed for a short film, her latest hit, an acoustic cover of "Rich Girl", is quickly racking up views on YouTube and shares over social media.

Eve-Yasmine is definitely one to watch this year, and with people like Hollywood's Red One behind her, I don't doubt that she will soon soar to success. To find out more about her, you can check her website out here and to subscribe to her YouTube channel to check out her music and show reels, you can click here.

An inspiration to young people such as myself, Eve has provided so much support to me throughout my developing media career, and I can never thank her enough. Look out for an exclusive interview with her on my show "Friday's with Florence Grace" later on in 2015.

Love from,
Florence Grace
