Today, we're talking all about the environment and how we can all do our part to save the world. You describe yourself as an 'Environmentalist by day, blogger by night'. With that in mind, what do you think of the recent information shared that our planet may be totally unlivable in just 12 years time? It's so sad to think that we have been damaging our planet for years and now we're close to an unlivable state, the government and big companies are  finally  trying to do something about it. If said governments and companies weren't going to be affected by the 1.5 degree increase in temperature then I doubt they would be intervening, but they're gaining something out of it, hence them wanting to prevent potentially losing business and tourism. Four years is a long time, don't you think? I'm nowhere near the same person I was four years ago. I'm not friends with the same people, I'm not dating the same person, I'm not in the same job. Everything is completely different, and when I look back on the last four years of my life, I can't help but to think about how everything would be even more different had I not started my little blog - four years ago to the day. Four years ago, I was sat anxiously waiting for my A Level results, I was deciding if I was going to go to the university that accepted me or not, I was wondering if photography was really the career I wanted to pursue - in short, I was totally lost. Until I started my blog and began to create my own career. Blogging helped me to find my way, find myself  and totally change my life and I find that totally mind blowing.  I've been looking back through my Facebook page , right to my first year of blogging, and there's so many excit...

There is just two more posts left after today's before I will have completed my challenge/New Year's resolution of writing a blog post every single day for a year- plus one extra that I did for BJ's birthday! That's a grand total of 367 blog posts and let me tell you, I've learnt a thing or two about blogging in that time! The most popular posts are the posts where I get personal; particularly about my body/body image etc. However, my relationship posts were also very popular. You guys just love to read all the personal details about my life you nosy buggars!  It is incredibly difficult to find inspiration for a blog post every single day. Some days I'm really on it and other days I'm writing the most crappy post that I claim is a 'chatty catch up' with five minutes to spare before the day is over.  It is also time consuming  to write a post every single day. I even wrote a blog post for every single day of both of my holidays this...

Back in April, I wrote a pretty gloomy post about how I'd discovered that the "views" stat on Google Blogger, the platform I use for my blog, were not accurate and that most of them were spam views or computer bot thingamajigs. I couldn't believe this. I believed I had well over 80,000 blog views until I had Google Analytics installed- an accurate statistics counter- and was told otherwise. It turned out that actually, I had only had around 4,000 page views. I couldn't believe it, that in 18 months, with so many people telling me they'd read my posts and shared them etc. that I could only have had 4,000 views instead of the 80,000 Blogger had told me. I also couldn't believe that Blogger was so inaccurate! It really put me off blogging, and made me feel like I would now never achieve my goal of reaching 100,000 blog views before the end of the year- something I had been lead to believe I'd achieve quite easily with Bloggers stats in mind.  ...

On Monday 21st September, Bloggers Hangout hosted an event in collaboration with London Fashion Week- the Blogger's Beauty Bar! I love LFW, it's such a creative, exciting time of year, and so I was thrilled to be invited to attend this event! The first thing that blew me away was the venue...I didn't know much about it, so when I was arrived I was really  impressed. It was so classy! Inside, there were several different rooms, but the actual event was held upstairs, in a really stylish warehouse-esque room, with bare brick walls and wooden shutters for the windows, giving it that perfect, artsy London vibe! The event started at 7, and despite getting there on time, the room was already packed, creating a really exciting atmosphere. There were so many brands with stalls we had no idea where to start! All of the brands were really enthusiastic and great to talk to, which was really encouraging as I have only been to one event prior to this o...

I was really excited when I saw that the lovely Vix  was starting up a new "box", a beauty box. I see people getting "boxes" all of the time- GlossyBox, Graze Box, Kawaii Box...there is literally so  many boxes! I've always wanted to try one but never really been able to afford one, or found them to be worth the cost. Oh Blogger Beauty Box, what a delightful discovery you were. When I initially signed up for the box, I thought the products would be sample sized, so when I found out they would be full sized, I couldn't believe what a bargain I was getting- especially when the individual costs of the products total to a lot more than £10!
