Advertising with Love from, Florence Grace

Since I started blogging, I have seen bloggers charge for advertising space on their blogs, and I have seen how beneficial it has been to other bloggers and businesses, whether that's boosting their followers or increasing traffic to their blog/website and raising brand awareness- I've even had an advert on someone else's blog myself, and have reaped the benefits because of it.

I have decided to start offering advertising on my own blog, to help out all of those who have helped me, supported me or maybe just want some extra publicity via my own social media platforms. Whether you're a blogger, a business, running an event or maybe something entirely different, I'd love to help you out!

Here is what I can offer you for one month (30 days from an agreed start date).:

  • A promotional tweet every day for a month (this is a tweet written by me with a link to your blog/website/event and your twitter account).
  • A retweet on any of your own tweets with links to your blog posts/website.
  • A promotion once a week on my Facebook page, "Florence Grace", for a month.
  • A promotional blog post dedicated solely to your blog, website or event that will then be promoted up to 10 times within the 30 day period.
  • A promotional Instagram post.
  • A button on my blog for one month.

Children With Cancer UK Fashion Show!

Friday 27th February 2015 saw the grand event that was a fashion show in London for the fabulous charity, Children with Cancer UK. I was invited to the event about 2 weeks ago as a blogger, to cover the event and raise awareness of the charity. I was honored to have been asked to do so, as the charity is really just so important, as well as super excited to cover a fashion show, as this was something I had never done before! The night was a huge success, and the display of talent was extremely impressive- from the designers work, to the various acts performing in between! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek - Body Image and Mental Health

This week (13th - 20th May 2019) is Mental Health Awareness Week. This year, the theme is Body Image - how we think and feel about our bodies.  Those of you who have followed me for some time will know that for about two years now, if not more, I have been an advocate for body positivity and self love. More recently, you may have seen me featured in a story in The Metro , talking about a body shaming incident I experienced on holiday and how I dealt with it.  There's absolutely no denying that there is a direct correlation between body image and our mental health. I know that personally, when I'm experiencing a "bad body day" and don't feel very positively about my body, for whatever reason, my mental health goes down the drain too. Eating Disorders- the Blunt Truth.

WARNING:  The following content is sensitive and me be triggering to those suffering from, recovering from or who have recovered from eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia and other health problems such as depression. As I sit down in my local pub ready to tuck into my generous portion of gammon and chips, I feel a prickle on the back of my neck- that all to familiar feeling of knowing that someone is staring at you. As I whip my head around the dining area, my eyes fall on the slender figure of a girl, probably around my age, maybe a few years younger, looking at me with disgust in her eyes- disgust clearly at the way I look and what I'm eating. I feel fat, bulky, uncomfortable and I let my glance fall to her own plate, noticing she has a salad, mostly untouched. She sips constantly at her water like it's the only thing keeping her alive.
