Most emotional film scenes of all time
So, I've just finished bawling my eyes out at the very emotional scene in Toy Story 3 (which one? There's so many!) and thought hey I don't want to be crying alone! So I thought I'd share with you the most emotional film scenes of all time!
1) Toy Story 3- The furnace scene.
Need I say more? Toys holding hands for the final time faced with the prospect of death... it's heartbreaking, truly.
2) Toy Story 3- The closing scene.
The heartbreak of Andy leaving his life long companions behind is so emotional it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. I feel as though they're my toys!
3) Forrest Gump- The bullies.
Another film with countless heartbreaking scenes but nothing kills me more than seeing Forrest being attacked by rocks. Kids are so mean! Other emotional scenes include him getting his leg brace stuck in a drain pipe, Jenny leaving him in the middle of the night and *Sob* no one wanting to sit next to him on the bus on his first day of school!
4) Up- The life.
You know exactly what I'm referring to. The prepping of the nursery, the lack of child, the illness folllowed by the loneliness, the ruin of the house and everything in between. This film is made with the soul purpose of destroying hearts and ruining mascara I swear.
5) The Fault in our Stars- Augustus Waters.
I didn't see it coming, it hit me like nothing has hit me before and I wept. I still weep, every time I see it. So, so emotional.
6) My Girl- Bee's.
I watched this film when I was about seven and I truly experienced heartbreak for the first time. It devastated me completely.
7) My Sister's Keeper- The film.
This film was emotional in so many ways- anger, happiness, relief, love, pain. It covers everything and brings on tidal waves of tears.
8) The Holiday- Little Old Man.
In the least weird way possible, I love sweet little old men. In 'The Holiday' when he is confused and lost, when he can't get in to his house because of his shaking hands and when he has his tea set up ready for one...my heart just can't take it.
9) Bridge to Terabithia- The Rope.
This scene was another one from my childhood that showed me heartbreak for the first time. No pain compares to watching this, seriously.
10) Never Ending Story- The Horse.
Animals don't usually get to me but this did- whether its because horses are my favourite animal or because I was a child, I don't know but this scene broke my heart and made me cry myself to sleep.
Okay so I know there is a few full films rather than scenes in there but you get my point. These are some real tear jerkers. What films make you sob and sniffle and leave you broken hearted? Let me know in the comments below!
Love from,
Florence Grace
